Romania’s tech market is experiencing significant growth, and Bucharest has become a key innovation hub. The city’s dynamic environment, combining rich history with modern technology, makes it an exciting place for tech professionals and companies.
Innovecs is expanding its presence in Romania, focusing on building a diverse and multicultural team. This global approach brings together talents from various backgrounds, fostering creativity and new ideas. We recently spoke with Leslie Isabel Reyes, Marketing Campaign Manager, whose unique perspective and experience add great value to our team.
Leslie shared her journey at Innovecs, describing how being part of a diverse, global team has influenced her work and personal growth. We also explored her interests, from her favorite movies to her music playlists and more. Join us in getting to know Isabel and her story.
Being part of Innovecs, a global company, while residing in Romania has significantly contributed to my professional development. The exposure to a multicultural environment has not only broadened my horizons but also enhanced my ability to devise content strategies that cater to a global audience. The diversity within the teams encourages a deeper understanding of various market dynamics, fostering an inclusive approach to content creation.
The cultural traits of community and adaptability prevalent in Romania, combined with my Hispanic cultural traits, have been instrumental in shaping a supportive and flexible work atmosphere. These values have instilled in me the significance of teamwork and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing demands of the content strategy field. They help me create a collaborative environment where everyone’s input is valued and considered.
In my role as a Marketing Campaign Manager, I oversee all marketing campaigns at Innovecs and responsible for formulating and executing content strategies that effectively convey our brand’s vision and connect with our audience in the HighTech market. My daily routine is dynamic, involving market research, collaboration with colleagues, and managing the content lifecycle from ideation to distribution. And, of course, my day includes 1 or 2 cups of coffee – we all need that extra boost for creativity!
Aligning the content strategy with the cultural and market specifics of Romania and other markets we are present in entails a deep dive into the local audience’s preferences and societal values. Keeping abreast of regional trends and integrating cultural insights is key to ensuring our content resonates with all our markets.
My interests in the arts and community engagement significantly influence my professional approach. I am passionate about sports, working out daily, and constantly learning new things through online courses, whether it’s drawing or something tech related. These activities provide me with unique perspectives that I incorporate into my work, enhancing my ability to craft narratives that are both compelling and innovative.
For those in Romania contemplating a career at Innovecs, I would encourage them to seize the growth and learning opportunities that come with working for a global entity. Embracing new experiences, seeking mentorship, and bringing your distinct experiences to the table are vital for personal and collective advancement within such a diverse company. The chance to work in a multicultural environment like Innovecs is invaluable for professional growth.
I’m not a big fan of watching TV or cinema, but one of my favorite movies is “Inception,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio. This film really makes you not want to leave your couch for more popcorn. I find the film’s nonlinear narrative structure fascinating, with its dreams within dreams and thematic depth. It explores profound themes such as the nature of reality, the power of the subconscious, the concept of inception (planting an idea in someone’s mind), and the consequences of our actions. It’s truly a movie worth re-watching.
This is a hard question to answer as I am a melomaniac; I play music the entire day. The only times I don’t are when I’m sleeping or in meetings. So, if you ever visit me, you’ll hear everything from classical to the jazziest beats. You can check out one of my public playlists here: YouTube Playlist.
I follow the channel “I Did a Thing”. I love watching how logic and science are applied to do things at home, all presented with a bit of Australian humor.
I’m from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, but I live in Bucharest, Romania, so you get two recommendations for the price of one. If you’re visiting Honduras, you must go to Copan Ruinas to explore our Mayan ruins and connect with nature. If you’re coming to Bucharest, visit the best spa resort, Therme Bucharest. You won’t want to go back home.
My favorite book is “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle. Back in the day, I had a very difficult time with my overthinking habits, and this book helped me get along with them and find harmony with my surroundings. It’s a book full of meaning, and I highly recommend it if you’re interested in self-improvement and psychological literature.
As a tech enthusiast and marketer, I frequently download apps. Depending on your relationship with your devices, I would recommend downloading MyFitnessPal. It helps you track your meal calories, create your own meal planning, and it has a food bar scanner that makes it very easy to use. Additionally, if you work with Microsoft systems, I recommend the To Do app by Microsoft, which is very helpful for organizing your day and tasks. For better time tracking of your tasks, especially if you use the Pomodoro Method, ClickUp is a great choice.
